Cancellations Due to Weather

Our foremost consideration is safety. Should weather pose a risk to charter operations as per our captain's expert opinion, we provide adjustable solutions:
- Complete Refund: Issued when rescheduling isn't feasible
- Reschedule: Change your booking to an available date without extra expenses
- Charter Credit: A credit applicable for one year from your initial charter date
Procedure for Weather Evaluations
Our method for weather assessment includes:
- Evaluation of wind velocity and trajectory
- Swell stature and oceanic conditions
- Visibility and precipitation projections
- Marine advisories and cautions from the Coast Guard
- Professional assessment of navigational safety by the captain
Timeframe for Decision: Determinations concerning weather-based cancellations are finalized no later than 4 hours before the planned departure.
Refunds in the Event of Medical Emergencies
Qualifying Emergency Circumstances
In recognition that medical crises can arise unexpectedly, the following conditions may be eligible for special consideration:
- Sudden illnesses or injuries necessitating hospital care
- Passing away of a close relative
- Military deployment or urgent summons
- Mandated court appearance or jury service
- Natural calamities that impact travel
Requirement for Documentation
Documentation is required to proceed with emergency-related refund requests:
- Healthcare certification or hospital records
- Deceased’s certificate (if applicable)
- Official military commands
- Legal summoning or jury duty notification
- Emergency bulletins or declarations affecting travel
Refund Timeline: Refunds in emergency situations are processed between 3-5 business days after receiving the appropriate documentation.
Cancellations Due to Operational Issues
Equipment Malfunctions
In the event of mechanical failures that cannot be promptly fixed affecting your assigned yacht:
- Substitute Vessel: We endeavor to arrange a similar replacement
- Complete Refund: Provided if no equivalent substitute is accessible
- Partial Refund: Offered if the alternate vessel has dissimilar pricing
- Recompense: Additional compensation might be considered for the inconvenience
Non-availability of Crew
In the unlikely scenario that a certified crew cannot be provided:
- A substitute crew will be arranged when feasible
- Full refund is issued if the charter cannot proceed
- Rebooking without additional cost is offered

- Delays due to weather

- Operational complications
Terms for Credits
- Validity Period: 12 months from the date of issuance
- Non-transferable: Credits cannot be passed to other individuals
- Worth: The entire value of the charter without deductions for processing
- Application: Redeemable for any charter that's available
- Expiry: Extensions beyond the 12-month period are not permitted
Compensation for Partial Services
Interruptions in Service
Should your charter experience disruption or end prematurely due to factors we are responsible for:
- A ratio-based refund corresponding to the unused portion
- A credit equal to the value of the future charter
- Complimentary offerings or upgrades
Interruptions Attributable to Guests
In the event that a charter is concluded ahead of time due to guest actions or violations of safety protocol:
- No reimbursement for the unspent time
- Full payment of the charter remains obligatory
- Supplementary fees may be levied
Resolving Disputes
In case you dissent with the outcome of a refund evaluation, you are entitled to:
- Request a reassessment by our steering committee
- Submit supplementary evidence or records
- Appeal for adjudication through consumer protection entities
- Engage in judicial proceedings as sanctioned by the prevailing legislation

Significant Advisories
- All requests for reimbursement must be lodged in written form
- Refunds will be processed in €, irrespective of the currency used initially
- Acquisition of travel insurance is highly advocated
- This policy can be modified with an announcement 30 days in advance of the changes taking effect
- Refunds will adhere to relevant fiscal stipulations and directives
